My Story
FrenchCroissant grew out of my own personal journey.
Hello all, my name is Jussara. I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil.
After moving from Brazil to France, I discovered a wonderful world of bakery and pastry. When I later moved to Mexico in 2000, I missed the products I had enjoyed in France — especially the countless types of pastries and the slow‑fermented sourdough breads. So I decided to make them myself and learned the production process step by step.
Now that I have moved to McAllen, TX, I find myself in the same situation once again. This time, I chose to bake not only for myself but also for others, because I believe that what is good for me is good for you.
I hope you will enjoy what my family and I make with love and care. If you like what we make, please, feel free to share with others.
